Pioneer riders with a dog too, 24 Aug

Babette and Paul must be one of the first in the new
wave of pilgrims to Rome to have made the journey along
the Via Francigena by horse. The book is a well written
account of their journey with all the trials and
tribulations and also surprises and kindness they
encountered.
If you are interested in the Via Francigena this is one
of the few if not the only journal written by a recent
pilgrim in English and well worth reading.
